Hi I’m Kathryn, the makeup artist behind KM Makeup. Makeup is a real passion of mine and I absolutely love seeing my clients look come together. Especially on their wedding day.

Having those amazing images that last the test of time, come down to the details. I love creating a radiant, timeless and natural look that leaves a lasting impression. One that will be a part of your many treasured memories.  

I started KM Makeup in 2013 after completing the Certificate IV in Makeup and Diploma in Specialist Makeup from the Canberra Makeup Academy.  I have continued my learnings through Val Garlands Mastered Makeup Course where my love for makeup has continued to flourish. I pride myself on continuous learning and trying out new techniques. 

I am truly honoured and very humbled to be have been the winner of the 2022 Wedding Industry Award, presently finalist in the 2022 ROAR Awards and Local Business Awards. I have been the recipient of the Brides Choice Awards, Top 10 makeup artist in Canberra for 2019 and 2021. All these awards would not have been possible without my valued clients.

I pride myself on always being on time, providing you with a friendly and professional service. My service is mobile, I will bring everything I need. I’m happy to travel in and outside of Canberra.

A preview consultation (Bridal trial) is an important part of your wedding preparation to ensure you have just the look you’re after for your special day. I use high quality makeup that will last and look fresh throughout the day. I also take the time to record and photograph your trial look to ensure I recreate your makeup perfectly on the day. Please allow a couple of hours for your makeup preview/trial.

There is nothing more rewarding, more fulfilling than seeing a client’s natural beauty enhanced. To see my clients shine and feel beautiful in their own skin is touching. They’re my favourite moments.
